They come in a beautiful array of colours and patterns so you are sure to find the perfect match for your nursery.What do Hippychick say? We developed these gorgeous cotton fleece blankets in response to requests for a natural alternative to polyester fleece, scratchy wool and bulky quilts. They are wonderfully soft, breathable and ideal for young and sensitive skins due to their chemical free composition.Our blankets have International Certification Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (Class 1 especially for babies). This is renewed annually and testing is carried out on all material, dyed yarns, banding and labels. Only natural fertilisers are used on the crops and they are produced using a chemical free manufacturing process.This fabulous range of blankets comes in both Baby and Toddler sizes and are available in five beautiful soothing colours; pale pink, pale blue, yellow, dusky blue and natural. There is also an Organic Cotton version which comes in both sizes. All of them are machine washable on a normal wool programme.Unbelievably soft and warm they are just the thing to snuggle your baby or toddler up in. Hippychick Soft as silk, strong as polyester, cool as linen, warm as wool, even more absorbent than cotton...Natural Goodness Tencel is a natural hygienic fibre made from 100% biodegradable wood pulp cellulose. This, together with an undetectable, breathable, 100% waterproof, polyurethane layer makes a fabulous fitted sheet for every Cot.Extra Comfort Tencels unique moisture absorption capacity draws away moisture to enhance comfort as you sleep. The super smoothness and built-in moisture control capabilities help you keep cool even on the hottest of nights. Ideal for sensitive skins.Without moisture the growth of bacteria is inhibited. Without bacteria, mold and mites similarly find life more difficult. All this is achieved without the use of added chemicals that otherwise might be harmful to sensitive skin. The polyurethane layer also acts as an anti allergy barrier - further protecting against mites which are a major cause of hayfever and asthma.
